Not all the work in a bag factory happens on the bag machine. Fabric rolls from the supplier are usually wide, and hand-sewn or special bags need the fabric cut into sheets. That is where slitting and cross cutting machines come in.
The ZXC-A1700 slitter: from a wide roll to narrower rolls
The slitter unwinds a wide fabric roll and slits it lengthwise into several rolls at the width your bag or printing machine needs. It also slits film, paper and foil.
- Roll width up to 1700 mm; slitting width 25–1700 mm.
- Speed 20–100 m/min.
- Automatic web guiding, constant tension control, counting and auto stop at the preset length.
- Runs on 220V at only 2.2 kW, with a footprint of about 2.5 × 1.8 m.
The benefit: buy cheaper wide rolls and slit them yourself, and use roll leftovers instead of throwing them away.

Cross cutting machines: from rolls to sheets
ZXQ machines cut rolls across into sheets of the size you need. There are three models, depending on the work:

- ZXQ-B1200: the simplest model and the ideal support machine for hand-sewn 3D bags.
- ZXQ-A1200: folds and ultrasonically seals both edges and punches D-cut handles in the same pass; it also makes airline headrest covers.
- ZXQ-C1200: attaches handles on both sides automatically, saving a lot of labour on gift bags, wine bags and hand-sealed bags.
