What is a cast stretch film line?
The line melts polyethylene (LLDPE) granules in several extruders and lays them in layers through a flat die. The film is cooled on a chill roll and wound onto finished rolls. Cast film is clear, with even thickness and high tensile strength, and suits both hand-wrap and machine-wrap film.

- 1 m machine: a good start if you focus on hand-wrap film (50 cm rolls) and want a smaller investment and footprint.
- 1.5 m machine: higher output and more layers, so you can make machine-wrap film, silage film and cling film at higher quality and serve larger customers.
Why the number of layers matters
Each layer has a job: an outer cling layer so the film sticks to itself, a core layer for tensile strength and tear resistance, and a smooth outer layer. More layers let you tune the film's properties and use more economical material blends without losing quality.
Power and space
- Power: stretch film lines need 380V 3-phase; the 1 m line is rated at about 75 kW.
- Space: allow room around the line for raw material, finished rolls and packing, in addition to the machine itself.
- The line has a PLC touch screen and automatic thickness control, so it is easy to run after training.
Installation, training and payment
We install and commission the line at your factory and train your operators for 5 to 10 days depending on the machine, with a 1-year parts warranty and after-sales support. Payment is in Egyptian pounds and the price includes supply, installation and training. As an agent, not a trader, we also offer direct import from the factory in China so you can benefit from industrial tax exemptions of up to about 20%.
