Most bag factory customers do not want plain bags; they want their shop name, logo and phone number printed on them. That makes a printing machine a core part of any nonwoven bag factory. Without one you either sell plain bags only or pay extra and wait for an outside printer.

Why printing matters

  • Printed bags sell for more than plain ones, raising your margin on every order.
  • You can serve shops, pharmacies, restaurants and companies that want advertising on the bag.
  • You control delivery times and quality instead of depending on an outside printer.

Flexo printing on nonwoven fabric

A flexo machine prints on the fabric roll itself before it goes into the bag machine, using photopolymer plates and water-based or solvent-based ink, dried with hot air. The printed rolls go straight into the bag machine, so production stays fast and consistent.

Our flexo machine specifications

We offer three flexo machines: 2 colour, 4 colour, and the high speed 4 colour MR886H with ceramic anilox rollers and drying between every colour, for factories that need more output and higher print quality.

2 colour or 4 colour?

  • 2 colour: right if most customers are shops and pharmacies with simple one or two colour logos, which is most of the market. Lower cost and simpler to run.
  • 4 colour: right if you work with companies and brands with full-colour designs, or want to stand out with premium, higher-priced bags.
  • High speed 4 colour MR886H: for large volumes needing up to 80 m/min and ±0.25 mm colour registration.

Practical advice: if you are starting out, a 2 colour machine covers most orders. If you serve companies or large restaurants, 4 colour opens bigger jobs.

Screen printing: the high speed ZXH-A1200

Screen printing lays down a thick ink layer with strong colour, ideal for large designs covering much of the bag. The ZXH-A1200 is an automatic drum-type single-colour screen printer that prints on the roll, like flexo.

  • 3000–5000 m per hour, about three times a conventional screen printer with the same labour.
  • Printing area up to 1200 × 1100 mm, with several designs printed at once.
  • No bedplate glue and automatic ink feeding, saving materials and effort.
  • Gap between designs as low as 10 mm, so fabric waste is low.
  • Full servo control for accurate registration; works inline with bag and cutting machines.
  • Handles 60–150 g/m² fabric, 26 kW on 380V, and needs about 10 × 2.5 m of floor space.

Flexo or screen?

  • Flexo: for multi-colour logos (2 or 4 colours) in large volumes.
  • Screen: for one strong colour with a thick ink layer, or large designs covering the bag, for a premium look.

Matching the bag machine

The printing width of up to 1160 mm suits the rolls our bag machines use, so the roll leaving the printer goes straight into the bag machine. We check this with you when planning the production line.

Installation and training

As with our other machines, we install and calibrate the printer and train your operators for 5–10 days depending on the machine, with a 1-year parts warranty and after-sales support.
