If you are entering the nonwoven bag business or deciding who to sell to, you need to know the difference between bag types. Each type has different customers, and each machine makes specific types.

T-shirt bags

Shaped like the classic supermarket plastic bag, with handles cut from the same fabric. Light, low-cost and fast to produce; ideal for supermarkets and fruit and vegetable shops with high volumes.

Made by: ZXL-B700, ZXL-D700 and ZXL-E700.

D-cut bags

The handle is a hole punched into the bag itself, so the bag stays flat and neat with a large printing area. Ideal for pharmacies, phone, eyewear, gift and clothing shops.

Made by: ZXL-B700, ZXL-D700 and ZXL-E700.

Box bags

3D bags with a wide base and gussets: they stand on their own and keep boxes level. Ideal for restaurants, sweet and cake shops, gifts and perfumes. They include heat-retaining food delivery bags, popular with restaurants and delivery companies.

Made by: the dedicated ZX-LT500 box bag machine and the ZXL-E700 (5-in-1).

Flat bags with loop handles

A flat bag with fabric strap handles attached on the outside. More premium and carries more weight, so clothing shops and companies use it for exhibitions and promotion.

Made by: ZXL-D700 and ZXL-E700; the ZXL-A700 also makes loop handle bags.

W-cut bags

Similar to T-shirt bags, but the top opening is cut in a W shape; used by shops and supermarkets.

Made by: ZXL-A700 and ZXL-B700.
